Last week, we’ve introduced what RARE (Regenerative Agriculture Research Enterprise) is and why it matters. Now it’s time to turn blueprint into action. Thanks to the VF Foundation’s grant, we’re kicking off Phase 1, a focused pilot in South America that will prove our model at scale.
Where We Are Today
Technical design finalized for our cloud-hosted library
Hybrid AI translation pipeline (SLM + LLM + RAG glossary) tested on sample docs
Core Regional Network partners onboarded in Brazil, Colombia & Peru
Regenerative Agriculture Research - Phase 1 Roadmap (Q3 2025)
Document Ingestion:
import and translate 5,000 priority reports (Portuguese, Spanish, French, English)
Hybrid AI Deployment:
launch SLM-powered formatting & visuals pipeline,
activate LLM-driven glossary for precise term translation
Network & Grants:
expand our Regional Network to 15+ academics, agronomists & NGO leads,
award $50–100 K pilot grants to field partners for new smallholder studies
MVP Launch & Testing:
internal demo of our searchable library and dashboards,
user-testing sprints with farmers, extension agents & researchers, Iterate based on real-world feedback
